Well...some of you know I was getting a new monitor. I got the LaCie electron19blueIII and it ROCKS! Oh man....I have been using a 17" Sony Trinitron 17SFII and this LaCie blows it away. The colors are so much brighter and the clarity is amazing. I do a lot of photoshop work and this baby has what I need.

Congrats on your new aquisition. I'm jealous, really (drool.)
You may want to turn that brightness down several notches though for your Photoshop work. The main reason that Barco (which, according to La Cie, is the world's most accurate pre press color monitor) still uses Shadow Mask technology, is that Trinitrons are unnaturally bright which leads to false colors and color matching nightmares. For UT though, crank up the colors and frag away. |
