I have the v400 of UT and I want to update it to v436. But ya need the cd to update. And my friend lost my cd. Anyway to fool the update? Thanx 4 ur help.

Maybe with a full disk image, but i'm not sure. Other than that, I don't think there is any other way besides having the CD.

I think, but I'm not sure, that there is a no-delta patch which does not require the CD? But this may be for the PC only... somebody correct me if I"m wrong. THX.

Valve was developing one about ...what a year and a half ago? but cancelled it. I seem to recall whatever their reasons were, caused me to laugh...anybody remember why that was?
A port of half-life isn't going to happen. As to the no-CD thing. If your friend lost it and hasn't offered to replace it, then he's not much of a friend. I don't think you can get around the update without the cd. oo | Iron Chef ...formerly Kazar  |
