I have some strange connect problems on the osx server and a few other ones. Bolt locks up on some servers like osx. It works fine on MA. The players bodies slide they don't walk. Dead bodies stay, and my hot keyed commands are wrong. Does any body else ever experience there probs. If so is there a way to fix it?? OTB so we need a replace ment for that one map only

Just sit tight we got 6 days to get ready. If you have a replacemnt for 1 map (bolt) let me know who it is! If you don't we will figure something out. ***I could always sit out on bolt to keep things fair scorp! -[Probable solution], besides not like the rest of my team would miss me.

I'll show up and if you have a ton of people crap out I'll jump in if you'll have me. Or maybe a bunch of us "subs" can go play somewhere else. BTW, I find some of the settings a bit odd - 6 cap max? 30 minute limit? Most ladder CTF games are no cap and 20 mins. It might be worth removing the cap limit at least - I can see how with the "non-standard" maps, people might take awhile to fully grasp what's going on, and could stage a comeback. I wanted this thing to be as less painfull as possible for eKo to set up. I know he is busy doing other things. Set it up as you wish eKo. By the way just to be clear we are playing "Best of 5" does this mean 3 wins in a row by one team mean the last 2 maps are dropped? or do we play all 5 maps regardless of wins? -OTB

Like Tavern says, if we have some close games that come down to the wire, the tourney would run 2-and-a-half hours. That's a little long for a tourney were we need to keep 12 people online for the duration. And I have no objection to changing Bolt to something else. I don't have any real great suggestions though. -Q [osX]

Posts: 186 (02/11/02 23:23:16) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Well, Putting Darkcity last is OK w/ Me except for the fact if we make it to that map, I think people would be burned out, and that is not a map to be burned out on, I could see the letters "CYA" on the chat screen already. That map makes for some long frustrating games. This is one reason why I like the CAP limit- I saw we go 4 Caps! Why dont we go 15 minutes- that way we are at 1.5 hours. Or we could do a 3 map rotation [I would rather not]. I just don't want this to fall apart in the middle or end of the tourney, where people get tired and bored and get off. Whats the fun in that? I can play all night on Friday but I am sure the others can't! M02 (my 2 cents) RA Le Loup: Is that a compliment for Red Team or a Compliment for Blue Team? If its Red thanks in advance-One thing is I am the only n00b for iFrag so Blue does have an advantage as they have no n00bs. -OTB "You Down with OTB........"

My plan back fired I told him about Ifrag and said help blue, but thanks to all of Valen's propaganda blue was filled up. We are use to getting turned to giblets by the two of them so it will be fun. I do think the teams are close in match up though.
